If your dad enjoys outdoor grilling and smoking, then I present to you one of the best gifts you can get him for Father's Day. Hovering over your meat and constantly checking to see whether or not it's done is tedious, but a wireless meat probe neatly solves this problem. For a limited time, Amazon is offering the well-rated ThermoMaven X2 Wireless Meat Thermometer for just $39.99 with free shipping after a hefty 62% off coupon code "D7NFPHB5".

Amazon Prime members can still get this delivered before Father's Day, which lands on Sunday, June 21. If you're not a Prime Day, order it today and you'll get it a day later on Monday, June 22. Heck, as an avid (yet amateur) dad chef, I would definitely be stoked to receive this as a gift, even if it didn't arrive on time.

62% Off the ThermoMaven X2 Wireless Meat Thermometer

The ThermoMaven X2 thermometer provides you with consistent internal temp readings no matter where you are in your house so that you don't have to babysit your stove or grill. Each stainless steel probe (two are included) has a total of sixstrategically placed internal tempeature sensors with NIST-certified accuracy within ±0.5°F. It's IPX8 rated, which means you can clean it in the dishwasher (although I still wouldn't recommend it) and can withstand temps of up to 752°F.

The probes wirelessly transmit data to the included base statino using sub-1 GHz WiFi technology. ThermoMaven claims a range of up to 3,000 feet. That's a hugely questionable distance that can only be achieved in perfect conditions and line-of-sight, but rest assured it should be able to reliably transmit data wherever you are in your reasonably sized house. The base station boasts up to 80 hours of battery life, and it can be recharged with a USB Type-C cable.

When you're done, the probe tucks away neatly in the base station. The display is easy to read and you don't have to download an app to get full functionality. Easy peasy.
